Don't Tap The Glass, Tyler The Creator's 2025 album, joins the class of music I'm nicknaming "Post-Covid Party". Multiple artists over the last three years have released albums that let go of the rules and burst out of their normal sound. COVID allowed for deep personal reflection, but I think all creatives have missed the excitement of creating simply for joy, and creating for ourselves, too. And because of it, a wave of upbeat and joyful music has been released, including this exceptional album by Tyler.
